how can i go and get my eyeshade to undo up maximised instead of the minimum size?

Answer:

maximise the fanlight then close it down, it should remember the settings
the middle square top right appendage corner of the screen!
you inevitability to drag the window to the size you want it, consequently close and reopen it. your window will remeber the closing state it was within except maximise
go to the right mitt corner of your window the one that you are trying to amplify, with your mouse,

when you see a double arrow, after drag it to the right and make

your windowpane as big as you want it. and it will stay that size.
