I enjoy the old one but the small piece near the prongs(the small strange shapped one) have bent so I cant use it. I get a new monitor and when I try to use the standard monitor plugin it get the signal but no display. Please hep!!

Have you tested the new monitor on another computer? Maybe it's desperate... Definitely get a exotic monitor cable and make sure it's carefully attached. Also, confirm that your computer isn't currently set for a video mode that your new monitor doesn't support, especially if it's smaller than your ancient one.
Buy a new cable making sure you enjoy the right plugs. If it doesn't work update your monitor drivers.
