how can i build the eyeshade the right size to fit the monitor?

Answer:

I have a sneaking suspicion that your talking in the region of resolution, right click on your desktop, click properties click on the settings tab, depending on you monitor size is your correct resolution, try 1024 X 768
its this crazy thing call changing the resolution
stir to display. right click blank spot on your screen choose properties.
On the front of the monitor should be at least possible four buttons, on older monitors they controls be on the back. Push one, it should bring up a crude menu of picture icon. You will have to experiment within moving to the picture of a screen next to two sideway arrows to stretch the screen sideways, after to the icon of the eyeshade being stretched up and down, later Exit. Honestly, each monitor is different, but primarily this should do it. Chow
right click on desktop

click properties

settings tab

1024X768 is what I use on a 19" monitor

Also, make sure you hold the proper drivers for your monitor instead of using generic drivers provided by microsoft.

I can't walk you through this, but you should stir to your computer manufacturer page and carry the drivers if they are not loaded. If they are unavailable you can look at the model on the subsidise of your monitor up at www.driverguide.com

good luck
"Right Click" on your desktop, dance to "Properties", look for the "Settings" tab

There is a slider on the left that read "Screen Resolution"

Too make your peak larger, drag it to the left, to formulate it smaller drag it to the right.
