how can i connect a external monitor to a laptop..when i close the monitor eyeshade physically down, it hybernat
Answer:
Right click on your desk top, goto proporties...
Go to Screen Saver tab, after click on the Power button. goto the "Advanced" tab. middle of the page says, When i close the lid of my portable computer:"
Select, "Do nothing"
Just connect the external monitor to the video port of the laptop. Go to the control panel and see if you can find something to see the external monitor. That should do it.
You need disable hibernate pick. Open Control panel -> Power options and nearby disable hibernation.
Connect your monitor to the laptop serial port, just similar to the one from your desktop cpu. You can change your laptop power opportunity setting from the control panel to stop it hibernating when you close your monitor peak.
There is a serial port either at the rear legs or at the side. Connect the monitor and you may have to switch it by pressing the FN and F2 switch. If you see the display, then here is a problem with your labtop monitor. If still no video on the external monitor, consequently it is your video card which is on board next to the motherboard.
