How can i fix my laptop blind?

fell rotten bed, inside screen looks close to shattered glass.comp store told me 400 to fix. its an acer aspire, pretty foreign too.any places that fix it cheap?

Answer:

The only means of access to 'fix' your laptop is to replace the screen. You should try http://www.screentekinc.com and see if they can pummel that price. It also be beneficial to you to remove the screen from the laptop and turn out google for that part number.

ScreenTek also have screen removal instructions so you may want to try and do the repair youself to rescue time and money. It's pretty straight-forward and easy.

wow 400 bucks?

that's already pretty cheap.

sorry to right to be heard it, but LCD screens are completely expensive to repair. If it's still under warrenty you could try to contact the businesswoman but I don't think factory warrenties cover falls.

Don't verbs I won't rat you out.
Yea, $400 to replace a newer Acer LCD panel is a good price.

Usually the LCD's themselves cost upward of $300 fresh. Installation should take the tech going on for an hour if he/she is just buying the panel and installing it into the existing covering and backlight.

$400 is definitely a f¨ote price. If you want it cheaper, try buying the LCD panel used off'n Ebay and then simply have them install it. You might store $50.
