I want to transmit my workstation signal (VGA) to all TV, which is connected by cable. so that you can follow that i want to run my TV channel from my computer.
because i own a VCD player. so i know what it is possible to use my VCD player part for converter as VGA to s-video signal. ??
Answer:
Be warn when doing this.... if you are using a CRT television (cathode stream tube, aka non plasma/lcd tv).... doing this will permantly burn odd colours into your tv... CRT tv's cannot pedal the resolution comming from the vga or s.video connection... i know.... i own that yellow/purple stain on my tv right now.... best bet is to win a newish 3d card... most new ones enjoy the AV outlets... and transmit through a AV transmitter.... then tune the tv into the desired frequency....
However if you own an lcd or plasma tv just catch any new fully clad card.... plug the av's in.... and presto
you purely needs to buy a card next to Svideo out then you can play on tv
You are trying to use your TV as a computer monitor?
They do product S-video to VGA-output converters. You can also make one if you are tech savy. The key problem is that VGA monitors and TV's are different. It will work, but it will be blurry and hard to read essay. I did it before.
